Job Description:
Exemplify the image of Aloha while assisting guests in accordance with OHR polices and procedures.
Handles registration, phone calls, mail distribution, reports, monetary transactions, check-outs and provides general information.
Acknowledges and registers guests which entails verifying accommodations on the computer, obtaining vouchers when necessary, establishing guest credit via credit card or a credit deposit, completing forms, entering information into the computer and programming room keys on the key programmer.
Also, files registration cards in drawer.
Relays pertinent information regarding accommodations and assist with questions pertaining to and/or booking reservations.
Handles guests' needs by contacting various departments such as Housekeeping, Maintenance and Bell to fill guests' requests to ensure a pleasant stay.
Handles all guest mail and relays messages.
Receives and files guest mail which inlcudes U.
S.
mail letters/boxes; UPS and Federal Express packages/boxes.
Enter by keyboard, all registered guests information in the computer.
Handles room changes for guests based on availability.
Acknowledges guests verbally with a polite farewell, Mahalo while checking the guest out of the hotel which includes calculating room charges, logging them in the computer and signing check-out forms.
Handles and counts large amounts of money accurately and efficiently; exchanges foreign currency, cashes traveler's checks and personal checks, balances bank, and assumes the responsibility for safeguarding monies.
Verbally acknowledges guest warmly with Aloha, welcome to and Mahalo when responding their inquiries.
Posts charges to guest accounts, transfers charges/credits to accounts, and runs necessary computer reports.
Answers incoming calls for hotel and front desk and responds to guest inquiries.
Takes and relays messages for guests.
Cash personal or travelers checks for OHR guests.
Files registration cards in bucket (drawer).
Retrieves and replenishes general supplies such as computer paper, blank chits, beach towels, tennis equipment, etc.
Prints computer reports and verifies guests' information on the computer.
Responds to emergencies and security situations.
Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.
Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
